He has been dabbling in online business for about a decade now. After discovering Pat Flynn of SmartPassiveIncome.com and even NichePursuits.com in the early days, he's been building niche sites ever since.

Today, I'll share a bit more of Matt Allen's story and I'll do a quick review of the latest features of AmaLinks Pro.

The Matt Allen Story
Even though Matt works as a full-time FedEx driver, he's always found a little time to build a side income.Â
He actually started off with doing a little retail arbitrage. He and his wife would go to retail locations and try to find products that were at a deep discount and then flip them on eBay or Amazon for a higher price.
It was a fun date night!
But retail arbitrage started to get more competitive and it became more difficult to find great deals.
He then moved to building niche sites and found a little success there. He's now been building sites on the side for several years and even blogging about it over at Dumb Passive Income.
But as he would try to work on his Amazon associates sites, he noticed how difficult or time consuming it was to build affiliate links.
And it just so happened that he was able to connect with a software developer that was willing to partner with him to build what eventually become Amalinks Pro. Rather than Matt having to shell out thousands of dollars, he was able to go 50/50 with his developer to share in the future profits.
AmaLinks Pro was not a success out of the gate. In fact, the day they launched, they didn't get a single sale. Matt describes it as “crickets”.
However, they did get a sale the next day and things have been building ever since. They managed to sell a few thousand dollars worth over their first Black Friday weekend and they felt like they were finally on the map.
A year later when Black Friday came around, they were able to sell $10,000 worth of the software over that weekend!
Even though AmaLinks Pro is not a full-time thing for Matt, it's definitely gaining some traction and they continue to grow out the feature set.
AmaLinks Pro Review
I have been using AmaLinks Pro for well over a year now. I have Amalinks Pro showcase boxes, tables, and buttons on my OwnTheYard.com site. In fact, you can check out one of my posts here that includes AmaLinks Pro Showcase boxes, comparison table, and call to action buttons.

Overall, Amalinks Pro allows you to create great looking product showcase boxes, call to action buttons, product comparison tables, image links, and much more.
In addition, you have complete control over the styling, look and feel of everything you build. Â
Non-API Version
One feature that I did not review in the video is the “Non-API” version. You need to use the Amazon API to stay within Amazon's terms of service regarding images and more (you can't just copy and paste images from Amazon onto your site).
However, in order to get access to the Amazon API, you need to have 3 sales within a certain period of time. Normally, you would just have to manually build all your links until you got your 3 sales…then you could get access to the API.
Amalinks Pro has a cool feature where they basically integrate with the Amazon site stripe, so you are still compliant, and you still get to use images…even though you don't have access to the API.
So, if you haven't qualified for the Amazon API yet, you can still use Amalinks Pro to build great looking product showcase boxes and more! Â
Then, once you do have access to the Amazon API, you just add it to your AmaLinks Pro dashboard and you are all set.
